The Top 40 Bands in America Poll - Our Picks
Information Leafblower was kind enough to include One Louder in his Top 40 Bands In America poll extravaganza. The instructions for the poll were to provide a ranked list, from 1-10, of American bands, solo artists, rappers, DJs, throat singers, etc. that meant the most to you in 2005.

The American-only clause did make this a more interesting and challenging task. It certainly opened the door for several artists that would not have made my more open ended list. Working under this limitation really quantified just how much non-American music I listen to and enjoy. Of course, quality of music, rather than country of origin is really the most important factor, in the end.
